Amit Shah Targets RJD, Vows Naxal-Free India by 2026

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reignited the political debate in Bihar, accusing the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of creating a period of “jungle raj” two decades ago. Speaking at a public rally, Shah said Chief Minister Nitish Kumar deserves credit for freeing Bihar from that era of lawlessness and restoring order in the state.

Taking a sharp dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shah alleged that the Congress party has always tried to protect illegal immigrants. He emphasized that no infiltrator should ever be given the right to vote, asserting that national security and integrity must come before vote-bank politics.

The Home Minister also made a strong statement on internal security, declaring that India will be completely free from Naxal influence by 2026. He stated that the government will not engage in talks with any armed extremist groups that refuse to surrender their weapons, underlining a firm stance against left-wing extremism.
