Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Wildlife Convention Centre in Kohora, Assam, where he praised the ongoing efforts in wildlife conservation and anti-poaching initiatives. During his visit, he emphasized the critical role wildlife plays in India's ecological heritage and called for uncompromising dedication to conservation efforts.
A Site Symbolizing Conservation Commitment
Dr. Yadav specifically appreciated the center’s initiatives in species preservation and illegal wildlife trade prevention. He highlighted the importance of such efforts in protecting India’s biodiversity. The center had previously gained international attention in 2021, when 2,479 rhino horns were publicly burned at the same location—a powerful act symbolizing India's commitment to wildlife protection.
