The Indian Army has revealed a major update regarding Operation Sindoor, confirming the elimination of over 100 Pakistani soldiers along the Line of Control (LoC). The disclosure came from Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Director General of Military Operations, during a press briefing on Tuesday.
According to Gen. Ghai, this information became evident after Pakistan unintentionally released a list of posthumous gallantry awards on August 14, its Independence Day. The unusually high number of such awards strongly indicated that Pakistan suffered heavy troop losses during India's precision military operation.
“We executed a well-planned and targeted action along the LoC, and we were fully prepared for it,” said Gen. Ghai, underlining the strategic nature of the mission.
He also addressed the recent Pahalgam terrorist attack, confirming that all the militants involved have been neutralized. “The Army responded firmly. Every terrorist behind the attack has been eliminated,” he stated.
The revelations provide a glimpse into India's strong military and diplomatic posture amid ongoing cross-border threats. Operation Sindoor is now being recognized as one of the most successful cross-LoC operations in recent times, reflecting both tactical brilliance and strategic foresight.
This disclosure sends a clear message regarding India’s zero-tolerance approach to terrorism and its readiness to safeguard national security interests with precision-led responses.
