Patna – As the political heat rises ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav has made a sweeping promise to the people of Bihar. In a press conference, he announced that if voted to power, his government will ensure at least one government job per household that currently lacks a government employee.
Calling it a "revolutionary initiative", Tejashwi said that his party would pass a law within 20 days of forming the government to implement this plan. He emphasized that the strategy is backed by scientific data and practical planning.
“This isn’t just a political statement; this is a commitment backed by data,” he said. “We will use a structured and transparent approach to identify and support eligible families.”
He also criticized the ruling NDA government, accusing them of copying his announcements without real implementation. Tejashwi reminded the public that during his 17-month tenure as Deputy CM, his administration delivered 5 lakh jobs, but he believes more can and should be done.
“The last 20 years under NDA brought insecurity and joblessness. Bihar now needs a correct and perfect government,” he asserted. Tejashwi expressed confidence that Bihar’s voters will bless RJD in the upcoming elections and help bring about true change.
