A chilling murder in Ghaziabad’s Masuri police jurisdiction has left the local community shaken. On Tuesday night, 34-year-old Asif, a resident of Bada Bazaar, Dasna, was gunned down in cold blood by three unknown individuals.
The incident took place around 8 PM while Asif was returning home on his scooter. As he reached near Mayur Vihar, close to Sikrodha railway crossing, he was intercepted by three youths. Eyewitnesses claim a brief argument broke out before two men held him tightly, and the third allegedly fired a pistol directly into his mouth. The bullet reportedly exited through the back of his head, killing him instantly.
Asif worked as a mechanic and was well-known in his neighborhood. His murder has sparked panic and outrage in the area, with residents questioning the effectiveness of local policing and overall safety.
Police reached the scene shortly after the incident and launched an investigation. Forensic teams collected evidence, and CCTV footage from surrounding areas is being reviewed. Law enforcement officials have stated that efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the attackers.
